JULY NATIONAL ICE CREAM MONTH!!!!

Happy 4th of July from the Dairy Princess
July was not as busy as June but it still was a blast doing what I love. We were giving many opportunities to share our story and meet a lot of new people. The town celebrations are always some of my favorites as we get to ride in the parade. We were able to celebrate the 4th of July in Annadale and Waverly Daze. It so great to be able to celebrate the 4th in a local community since it has been a while and last year I was in Washington DC. I was truly amazed with all the familiar faces I saw. Plus it is always a great time with our queen cow Buttercup (fyi not a real cow) and everyone asking where's the milk and we have to say we left it at the farm. Waverly Dazes was another parade I had an outstanding time at. I was able to throw string cheese out with to amazing little helpers and princesses in training. Also I was able to talk to many of my 'sparkle section' friends. These girls definitely make the parades a lot more exciting. In the end I was able to welecome 3 amazing ladies into the group and said goodbye to 2 outstanding outgoing ambassadors.

Besides the parades I was able to attend John Deere Customer Appreciation and serving ice cream to the elderly and learn more about what life on the farm has changed. These events are always a lot of fun because meet so many people and share with them about dairy.

The Busiest time is complete:(

Buffalo Parade
Trivia at Culvers
This last month was one that kept me on the go. All for one reason June Dairy Month. I love June because it is Dairy Month. I had the privilege of meet two of the first babies born, go to libraries, read stories, serve ice cream, welcome people to Breakfast on the Farm, and a lot more. This month is always a fun time sharing my passion for the dairy community with others and asking them questions (which is always a lot of fun). Also it is time when I can connect with amazing young women in the 'sparkle section' by talking about the importance of dairy in our diets.

I truly would not have my June be any other way and now we are going into the Fourth of July and July National Ice Cream Month.

June Dairy Month

My Favorite Month of the year is June. Why you may ask? Well for me it my busiest month promoting dairy farming and the wholesome and nutritious product the cows provide us with. All ready three days into the month and we have already met one of the first babies born in June and giving a tour of a local dairy farm and that is just the beginning. I truly can't wait for the next 27 days tell community members about life on a dairy farm and all the benefits they receive in one serving of milk.
It is amazing to see how much younger girls look up to you when you have a crown on and I am sure us dairy princesses will be get a lot of hugs and a lot "Your a real Princess" this month but I will take that any time if that means I tell them about milk and other dairy foods.

God's Blessings and Continue to support your dairy farm families.
